Arianna Brisseau, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She offers telehealth appointments to patients throughout the state of Florida at Lewis Family Psychiatric in Wellington, Florida. Arianna has worked with veterans and adults in a variety of both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Brisseau focuses her professional practice on psychiatry. Arianna has received training in psychiatry, psychopharmacology, general medical issues, and psychotherapy. She has expertise and experience in treating most brain-based illnesses, including mood, sports performance, anxiety, PTSD, and attention disorders, and employs evidenced-based treatment strategies in each client’s care.
Dr. Brisseau's experience as a registered nurse in trauma, medical, and surgical intensive care units, including caring for veterans, has given her a solid understanding of medically complex patients. She brings this medical knowledge into each patient encounter.
Dr. Brisseau has served in leadership roles in hospitals, including Nurse Practice Education Chair. She was also a member of the Professional Excellence Program & Nursing Professional Standards Board.
Specializing in insomnia, PTSD, and post-partum depression, Dr. Brisseau's approach focuses on the unique challenges these conditions present. She offers a comprehensive care plan, including psychopharmacology, health, lifestyle coaching, herbal treatments, vitamin therapy, and psychotherapy.
Dr. Brisseau received her undergraduate nursing degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She received her master’s degree in psychiatric nursing and her doctoral degree in nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
